The MacDonald, Tyska & Alexander Difference

At MacDonald, Tyska & Alexander Orthodontics, we bring our combined 50 years of experience to each and every patient. All three of our orthodontists review your treatment plan to ensure you receive the best and quickest results. Our expertise often reduces the amount of time patients are in treatment, to give you straighter teeth faster.

Stunning smiles for everyone at every age

Braces aren’t just for teens. If you’ve longed for a straighter smile, there are more––and virtually invisible––choices than ever before. From Invisalign to clear braces, you can discreetly straighten your teeth without using noticeable metal braces. Our orthodontists are experienced in providing treatment plans for people of all ages.

Types of braces

Based on your preference and the doctors’ recommendation, you can choose the type of braces you prefer from a variety of options. Your orthodontist will explain the benefits of each type and will be happy to answer all of your questions.

Traditional Metal Braces

The most common type of braces are more comfortable today than ever before. Metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires.

Clear (Ceramic) Braces

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are less visible than metal braces. They are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns.

Clear Aligners (Invisalign)

Clear aligners are a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable plastic trays that straighten your teeth like braces. Not only are the aligners practically invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle.

Affordable payment plans

We offer in-house financing plans with low monthly payments and no interest, making getting a straighter smile more affordable then ever.

Schedule your free consultation

Before deciding on care, it’s important you know the options available to create your new smile. At your complimentary orthodontic consultation, you will meet with our Treatment Coordinator, who will take a series of photos. Then you will meet with one of our doctors, who will review your treatment options to get you to the smile you always wanted.

The doctor will then consult with our team of orthodontists, and together they will determine the best treatment approach for you. We will review the plan with you, explaining what is involved, what to expect, and how long we think treatment will last. It is essential you make an educated, knowledgeable decision about orthodontic care: this is your smile, after all!
